'X Factor': Drew Ryniewicz's rough night

drew-ryniewicz-x-factor-inspirational.jpgThings went from bad to worse for Drew Ryniewicz during elimination night on "The X Factor."  After being relegated to the bottom two for her sit down performance of "Billie Jean," the 14-year-old had to do her "Save Me" song. And that's when the trouble hit.

Ryniewicz, having wept openly just minutes prior, let her nerves get the best of her during her performance of Roxette's "Listen to Your Heart."

"My 'Save Me' performance sucked. It was so bad," she says. "I forgot there was a key change involved. So I started going all over the place." She adds that when she missed the song's key change, she looked the judges and could tell from their response she was going home.

The Arizonan also acknowledged that she made the wrong song choice to keep her in the competition. Rather than the ballad she performed, she says she should have picked an upbeat tune.

"I wish I could have showed that side of me that is a teenager who dances around...the fun side," Ryniewicz says.

But it was not to be. Now that she's off the show, Ryniewicz reflects on her experience during the singing competition.

"I'm going to be sad that I don't get to be here," she says. "But I'm also going to be happy I got to start off my career by the 'X Factor' by being represented by Simon Cowell and not everybody gets that."
