Rion Paige - The X Factor by caseycarlsonx1

A 13-year-old girl named Rion Paige captured everyone's heart during the "X Factor" Season 3 premiere. She is afflicted with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, which affects joints and in Rion's case, causes her hands to permanently bend forward. She's also almost completely blind in her right eye. It's a condition she's had since birth, but it is not progressive (it won't keep getting worse).

But Rion hasn't let that stop her from pursuing her dreams and here she is with Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away." Now, it's not the best vocal we've ever heard, but for a 13-year old girl, it's darn good.

Simon calls her "literally extraordinary" and the other judges echo his sentiments. They all joke that they want the young female singers group to mentor because they want to work with Rion.

What did you think of her performance?
