'X Factor' Top 13 do-over: Is Sweet Suspense in trouble?

x-factor-sweet-suspense-Top-16.jpgDue to a voting glitch, the "X Factor" Top 13 are at it again, performing their results show "save me" songs in what turns out to be a nicely-paced, filler-free hour of TV. Wish every week went this quickly.

Those who were able to turn in a second good performance this week include Josh Levi, Jeff Gutt and Lillie McCloud. They all rocked it last night and rocked it again tonight.

The acts who showed marked improvement include Rachel Potter, Ellona Santiago, Alex & Sierra, Khaya Cohen, Carlito Olivero and Rion Paige. A lot of those improvements had to do with song choice. Motown was not kind to them, but tonight they all were pretty solid.

Carlos Guevara continues to be the weakest singer there and did not do very well either night, but if he's popular with the young voters, then Tim Olstad and Sweet Suspense could be in some trouble. Restless Road also has a very rough night tonight -- "Don't You Wanna Stay" is not the song for a male trio. That was really rough. But they should be OK because they are country and cute.

Olstad has a great instrument but "I Believe I Can Fly" really got away from him at times.

And Sweet Suspense is puzzling -- we liked them tonight, as much as last night. But the way Cowell was talking, he thinks they're in trouble. Now, are they really in trouble or was that Simon's double-secret-probation voodoo way of getting votes for them?

Time will tell, but we would definitely put Tim Olstad and Carlos Guevara in our Bottom 2. What do you think, "X Factor" fans?
