Zac Efron gets $100K bottle of bubbly from Russian billionaire
a. A bit tipsy
b. Too rich for his own good
c. A Zac Efron fan
d. All of the above
We're going to go with all of the above after reading reports that the son of a Russian billionaire dropped a cool $100,000 on a bottle of bubbly for actor Zac Efron at a Chicago nightclub on Wednesday (Oct. 5).
According to the U.K.'s Daily Mail, Efron was partying at The Boardroom along with Heather Graham -- the two are in town filming a movie -- when the unidentified Russian sent over a 15 litre bottle of Armand de Brignac Nebuchadnezzar Champagne, aka "Ace of Spades." And, yes, we did the math: Assuming the average champagne flute holds approximately 100 ml, that would serve up about 150 glasses of bubbly.
Since there obviously wasn't enough of that to go around, the Russian also bought, according to TMZ, "2 magnum bottles of Grey Goose, 2 magnum bottles of Dom Perignon, 4 bottles of Cristal and 3 magnum bottles of Laurent-Perrier Brut Rose for his own table."
His server, Jasmine, pocketed a tidy $22,510 tip for her trouble. We're clearly in the wrong line of work.
