Sarah Jessica Parker, Bravo Mentor 'American Artist'
Bravo is developing a series with
Fresh from her silver screen triumph in the "Sex & the City" movie, Parker and her company Pretty Matches will team up with Magical Elves to develop "American Artist," a reality competition series in which aspiring contemporary artists compete in a range of disciplines including sculpture, painting, photography and industrial design. The winner will get a gallery show, cash prize and sponsored national museum tour. Parher previously appeared as a guest judge on the network's "Project Runway."
Also coming to Bravo is the spin-off "Top Chef: Masters," which pits A-list chefs, some of whom appeared as guest judges on "Top Chef," against each other. Also in development is "Fashion House," based on the British show of the same name, which is a competition series that features teams of designers that are tasked with replicating the workings of a fashion house so they can design an entire line in the hopes of having them marketed.
Bravo also announced premiere dates for "The Rachel Zoe Project" (Sept. 8 at 11 p.m. ET/PT), a docudrama about the celebrity stylist,
