'Wing' Star Joins Showtime's 'Brotherhood'

Emmy nominee Janel Moloney will join the cast of Showtime's "Brotherhood" when the moody drama returns for its second season this fall.

Moloney joins previously announced cast addition Brian F. O'Byrne.

Set against an imaginary Irish neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island dubbed "The Hill," "Brotherhood" uses the two Caffee brothers -- played by Jason Isaacs and Jason Clarke -- to examine the often intertwined worlds of politics and organized crime.

Moloney will play Dana Chase, described in Showtime's press release as "an attractive, professional woman who mysteriously strikes up a relationship with Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke) that further complicates his duplicitous life."

In her lengthy run as Donna Moss on NBC's "The West Wing," Moloney earned a pair of Emmy nominations for outstanding supporting actresses and won a pair of SAG Awards as part of the show's ensemble cast.

Other credits for Moloney include the Showtime movie "Bang, Bang, You're Dead," as well as the CBS original "Amber Frey: Witness for the Prosecution."
