CBS Wins Thursday 'Without a Trace' of Doubt

Crime drama, the gift that keeps giving at CBS, led the network to another sizable ratings win Thursday.

For the night, CBS drew a 6.3 rating/11 share, easily topping second-place ABC's 4.4/8. FOX took third with a 3.9/7, a little ahead of NBC's 3.7/7. The WB averaged 1.3/2 and UPN 1.1/2.

CBS also held the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 2.8 rating. FOX was second in the demographic with a 2.5. ABC's 2.1 edged NBC's 2.0 for third. The WB scored a 0.8, good enough to beat UPN's 0.6.

The eviction of Jase on "Big Brother: All-Stars" delivered a 4.6/9 for CBS at 8 p.m. A "Grey's Anatomy" rerun on ABC was second at 3.9/7. "My Name Is Earl," 3.8/7, and "The Office," 3.1/6, put NBC in third. FOX finished fourth with two episodes of "That '70s Show." A "Smallville" rerun on The WB earned a 1.4/3, beating UPN's "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Love, Inc."

CBS increased its lead at 9 p.m. with "CSI," 6.9/12. FOX jumped up to second with "So You Think You Can Dance," 5.2/9. The "America's Got Talent" results show posted a 4.7/6, beating a second "Grey's," 4.3/7, on ABC. "Supernatural" kept The WB in front of UPN, which went with "Eve" and "Cuts."

At 10 p.m., CBS' "Without a Trace" scored the night's biggest audience with a 7.3/13. "Primetime" averaged 5.0/9 for ABC, and "Windfall" came in at 3.0/5 for NBC.
