Adrienne Bailon's semi-nude pictures may be to blame for the snub

This Thanksgiving, America will have to do without a side of cheetah to go with their turkey.

The Cheetah Girls have been dropped from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade schedule, following racy photos of member Adrienne Bailon leaking online, reports the New York Daily News.

Although Macy's officials blame "scheduling issues" on the Cheetah Girls' ejection from the lineup, thus far the group's schedule for the holiday remains clear. The trio is booked, however, for the day before and day after Turkey Day.

Last week, semi-nude photos of Bailon, 25, hit the Internet. They featured her in her bra and nothing else. At the time she and her spokesperson, publicist Jonathan Jaxson, claimed that these were unauthorized pics from when her laptop was stolen a week earlier at JFK airport.

Now Jaxson claims that it was all a publicity stunt to alter her image to be more adult and less Disney. Unfortunately, the scheme was miscalculated.

"Adrienne wanted me to plant the story about the laptop," says Jaxson. "[She] wanted to distance herself from the Cheetah Girls. She decided, 'Let's spice it up' and say possible nude photos were stolen from her laptop ... I've done this before with several stars and we've had great success, but this is the first time it's ever bitten me in the rear or a client."

Do you think the Cheetah Girls were booted because Bailon showed off her booty?
