Glocksen marries Joe Ruzicka on New Year's Eve

Former "American Idol" finalist Gina Glocksen rang out 2008 by getting a wedding ring.

The 24-year-old Glocksen married her boyfriend of three years, 32-year-old Joe Ruzicka, in Naperville, Ill., on Wednesday (Dec. 31). Her fellow "Idol" season six finalists Jordin Sparks and Haley Scarnato served as bridesmaids, the celebrity mags report.

Ruzicka and Glocksen met in 2005 when she auditioned to be the lead singer of his band (she got the gig) and have been together ever since. He proposed to her during the 2007 "Idol" tour's stop in her hometown of Chicago.

Glocksen finished ninth in season six of "American Idol" (which was won by her bridesmaid Sparks). She worked as a correspondent on the Fox Reality Channel's "American Idol Extra" last year.

She's currently recording some original songs for an album she hopes to release by midyear.
