Heather Locklear 'Fine' After Suicide Alert
Paramedics went to actress' home, but left shortly afterwards
Heather Locklear is alive and well despite an emergency 911 call made over the weekend. We repeat: Heather Locklear is alive and well.Someone had called 911, reporting that the blonde actress would try to kill herself, but when the Ventura Fire Department and two paramedics units arrived at her Woodland Hills home on Saturday, March 8, they determined there was no suicide attempt made and left after 10 minutes.
"[I] spoke with Heather and she is fine," Locklear's rep told TMZ.com. "She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance."
Later, it was determined that the actress' psychiatrist had made the call, alarmed after talking on the phone with Locklear, who he feared would overdose on mecication she was taking for depression.
Locklear, 47, most recently made guest appearances on "Rules of Engagement" and "Hannah Montana," playing the mother of the title character's best friend Lilly (Emily Osment).
