Even though Matilda wasn't named in actor's will, she'll inherit millions

Although Heath Ledger's daughter wasn't named in his will, she won't have any financial worries.

The late actor's family has decided to donate Ledger's entire estate to his daughter, 2-year-old Matilda Rose, reports Australia's Sunday Times.

Ledger, who died at 28 of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in his Manhattan apartment in January, had signed a will four years before his death that left his fortune to his parents and sisters. Although his daughter, whom he had with his "Brokeback Mountain" co-star Michelle Williams, was born two after that will was drawn up, he neglected to update it to include Matilda.

When the details of the will were revealed in March, Ledger's father Kim issued the following statement:

"Matilda is our absolute priority, and Michelle is an integral part of our family. They will be taken care of, and that's how Heath would want it to be."

Accountant Mark Dyson, who is the executor of the actor's estate, refuses to state the amount Matilda will inherit, although some reports have speculated it to be over $16 million.

Ledger was seen posthumously as the Joker in the latest Batman film " The Dark Knight."
