No official word yet from the Spears camp

Lynne Spears is very excited about the news that her daughter, Jamie Lynn, is having a baby girl. And that the baby might be named Lynne (or will it be Lynn?).

According to Life&Style, a witness said, "I heard Lynne talking about Jamie Lynn's baby. She said Jamie Lynn and the baby's dad [Casey Aldridge] were so excited when they found out it's a girl."

Jamie Lynn has reportedly been buying tons of clothes and is going to "do the nursery in white, black and yellow," says a Spears family insider who also says the baby is due June 29.

And the name?

"Lynne said Jamie Lynn made a list of all the girl family names on both sides of the family and is trying to incorporate one of them as the middle name," says the witness, who also overheard that "Lynne's flattered to hear her name is being considered."

OK, let's stop this crazy business of naming your kids after their parents and grandparents but then dropping a vowel to confuse things.

Be original. Think of a new name. C'mon, you can do this.

It's gotta be confusing at family reunions.
