We wonder if Matt Damon is to blame.

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have parted ways, it was first reported by Vanity Fair.

"Jimmy and Sarah have and will have no further comment," reps for both comedians confirmed.

Named the Funniest Couple Alive by People earlier this year, the couple had been together for five years. Silverman often referred to their relationship in her stand-up routines, usually poking fun at their religions since Kimmel is Catholic and she is Jewish.

Earlier this year, Silverman, 37, famously created a spoof video with frequent butt of Kimmel's jokes, Matt Damon. The instant viral video sensation featured Silverman singing the confessional song "I'm F***ing Matt Damon," with the titular actor's help. Kimmel, 40, retaliated with his own video, "I'm F***ing Ben Affleck."

Kimmel is the host of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and Silverman is the star of Comedy Central's "The Sarah Silverman Program."
