'Saturday Night Live' vet and wife Sunshine Tutt have no plans to immediately divorce

Less than two months after they were married, Chris Kattan and wife Sunshine Tutt have reportedly separated.

According to People, the " Saturday Night Live" veteran and his fashion model wife are merely separated and the have "no plans for divorce at this time."

The magazine failed to get any explanation for the split from Kattan's rep.

The couple met at a birthday party in 2005 and married in Yosemite on June 28.

Kattan is also known for his other "SNL" characters, including the simian Mr. Peepers, the sexually aggressive Mango and club-hopping Doug Butabi.

His big-screen credits include "A Night at the Roxbury," "Monkeybone," "Corky Romano," "Undercover Brother," "Nancy Drew" and the upcoming "Food Fight."
