Kelly Rutherford is pregnant with her second child

"Gossip Girl" star Kelly Rutherford may be pregnant with her second child, but she's not rejoicing quite yet.

The 40-year-old actress has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, German businessman Daniel Giersch, reports People.

The papers, filed on Dec. 30, cite the old standby "irreconcilable differences" for the split. Giersch also filed for legal separation the same day.

The couple already have a 2-year-old son, Hermes. Their second child is due in June.

Rutherford was briefly married to Carlos Tarajano in 2001. Their marriage lasted less than seven months. She later married Giersch in August 2006.

Rutherford currently plays Lily van Der Woodsen, mother to Serena (Blake Lively) and Eric (Connor Paolo), on "Gossip Girl." She's also known for playing ex-hooker Megan Lewis Mancini on "Melrose Place" from 1996-1999.
