'American Idol' Star Ties the Knot

LaKisha Jones wed in Beverly Hills amongst her fellow contestants, including Sanjaya Malakar

It was an "American Idol" reunion when one of their own got hitched this weekend.

"American Idol" sixth-season finalist LaKisha Jones wed financial adviser Larry Davis on Sunday, Oct. 5 in Beverly Hills, Calif., reports UsMagazine.com.

Fellow reality show castmates Haley Scarnato, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen and Sanjaya Malakar gathered with the couple's 50 friends and family members at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel to listen to Jones, 28, exchange vows. Incidentally, Malakar wore his hair in a loose-curled, shoulder-length cut.

The bride wore a strapless Alfred Angelo gown, Stuart Weitzman shoes and jewelry by Neil Lane, while her daughter Brionne, 5, served as flower girl.

The ceremony was peppered by Jones' laughter thanks to witty vows such as "for richer or less richer" and minister Dr. Ed Montgomery of Houston joking, "Pay attention. What I'm about to say is very important: We'll have the results right after these messages."

The happy couple had initially met through friends, and Davis proposed in June with a Louis Vuitton purse that belonged to his late mother. The couple plans to honeymoon on Barbados.
