Scott Ruffalo, a hairstylist, is in critical condition

Actor Mark Ruffalo, the leading man for "13 Going on 30" and "Just Like Heaven," is focused on his family life at the moment.

The "Blindness" star's younger brother, Scott Ruffalo, is currently in serious condition after being shot in the head in Beverly Hills early Monday (Dec. 1), reports People.

The magazine's sources say that the shooting occurred around 1:40 a.m. in the condominium on North Palm Drive in which the younger Ruffalo lived.

Police are investigating the shooting to determine if there was any criminal activity.

Scott Ruffalo, 39, is a hairdresser like his mother Maria Rose and his sisters Tania and Nicole. He is currently staying in a Los Angeles hospital.

Mark Ruffalo, 41, also appeared in "Zodiac," "All the King's Men" and the upcoming "The Brothers Bloom," costarring Rachel Weisz and Adrien Brody.
