Matthew McConaughey's sexiness lives on in another generation.

The hunky actor-surfer and his girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed a son on Monday night, July 7 in Los Angeles, reports People.

Levi Alves McConaughey weighed 7 lbs., 4 oz. when he was born at 6:22 p.m.

McConaughey, 38, broke the news that his girlfriend of two years, a 23-year-old Brazilian model, was expecting their first child on his website in January.

"Got some blessed news ... a celebration of news and bounty ... a newborn concieved ... yes, my girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together ... its [sic] 3 months growing in her womb ... we are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God," he posted on his site at the time.

McConaughey next makes an appearance in the comedy "Tropic Thunder," hitting theaters Aug. 15, and stars in the upcoming comedy "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past."
