Actress accepted proposal in Jamaica

Mena Suvari is heading to the altar ... eventually.

The "American Beauty" actress and boyfriend Simone Sestito got engaged over their vacation in Jamaica, reports People.

Suvari, 29, met the producer/concert promoter at the Toronto International Film Festival while Suvari was promoting her film "Stuck."

"They're taking their time planning the wedding," says a source close to the actress. "They are in no rush."

No wedding date has been set.

Suvari is best known for her roles in "American Beauty," the "American Pie" films and other films that don't necessarily have "American" in the title. Her upcoming projects include "Garden of Eden," "The Mysteries of Pittsburgh" and on the Lifetime movie "Murder in Sin City" in September.
