Babies are due in the winter

Rebecca Romijn-O'Connell is preparing to be a mother twice over.

The "Ugly Betty" actress and her husband, Jerry O'Connell, are expecting twins this winter, reports People.

In fall 2004, Romijn was scouting for a documentary, "Wet Dreams," about the choreographed fountains at Las Vegas' Bellagio Hotel and Casino when she first met O'Connell at a party. They were engaged in September 2005 and tied the knot in July 2007.

Romijn, 35, was previously married to John Stamos, whom she officially divorced in March 2005.

O'Connell, 34, will be taking another stab at TV this fall with the FOX comedy "Do Not Disturb."
