Tobey Maguire is expanding his web.

The " Spider-Man" star and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, are expecting their second child this spring, reports People.

The couple already have a daughter, 2-year-old Ruby Sweetheart Maguire.

Meyer, a jewelry designer, is the daughter of head of Universal, Ron Meyer. She met the actor in 2003 on the set of Universal Studios' "Seabiscuit." The couple got engaged in April 2006 and tied the knot in Hawaii in September 2007.

Besides starring in the "Spider-Man" franchise, Maguire, 33, last appeared in a cameo for the summer comedy " Tropic Thunder."
