Tyler Florence has become the ultimate dad.

The Food Network personality and his wife Tolan Clark Florence became the proud parents of a baby girl on Friday, Aug. 8, reports Foodnetworkaddict.blogspot.com.

The announcement was made as a status update -- done by mobile phone -- on the proud mother's Facebook page. The update read: "Tolan Clark Florence has a daughter ... Dorothy Tyler Florence 9 pounds, 19 inches born 9/8/08 at 8:08 am ... she is perfect ..."

For those who find the date and time uncannily familiar, this is also the exact time that " American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken's son was born.

The couple has another child, son Hayden, who is 14 months old. Florence, 37, also has another son Miles, 12, from his previous marriage to Christie Leer.

Florence used to host "Food 911" and "How to Boil Water" and currently hosts "Tyler's Ultimate" on Food Network.
