'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' Aunt Becomes a Mom
Caroline Rhea gave birth to a baby girl, Ava
The comedienne and her boyfriend Costaki Economopoulos welcomed a baby girl into their lives on Monday (Oct. 20) in New York, reports People.
Ava Rhea Economopoulos, the couple's first child, weighed 8 lbs., 15 oz. at birth and measured 22 1/2 inches.
"We wanted the shortest first name possible, since her last name is the alphabet," says Rhea, 44. "It was either that or Emmy, because I've always wanted an Emmy."
Like Rhea, Economopoulos is a stand-up comedian who has written for "The Tonight Show" and a few shows on BET. He is a weekly contributor to the nationally-syndicated "Bob and Tom" radio show.
Besides "Teenage Witch," Rhea is best known for being the first host of NBC's "The Biggest Loser" reality competition show for three years. She also lends her voice to the Disney Channel cartoon "Phineas and Ferb" and co-stars with Rue McClanahan and Olivia Newton-John in Logo's series "Sordid Lives."
