Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi have known each other a month

Geri Halliwell has spiced up her life with a whirlwind romance.

The former Spice Girl has become engaged to Italian yacht tycoon Fabrizio Politi after having known him a month, report celebrity sites.

"We are delighted to announce the engagement of Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi," says Halliwell's management firm, 19, in a statement. "As a token of their commitment to each other Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season. There are no immediate plans for marriage as the couple are enjoying their engagement."

The 36-year-old "Spice World" star met Politi, 34, in a Florence nightclub in December. For the engagement, he reportedly gave her a diamond ring worth $310,000. They've been taking luxury trips to the Maldives, Tuscany and Paris.

Halliwell has had busy romantic history, having reportedly had flings or relationships with Chris Evans, Robbie Williams and Jerry O'Connell, among others. She had a 2-year-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna, with her ex-boyfriend Sacha Gervasi.
