The actor and his girlfriend are expecting a baby boy

Chief Wiggum, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Moe Szyslak and the Comic Book Guy will soon share the joys of fatherhood.

Hank Azaria, voice actor for numerous characters on "The Simpsons," and his girlfriend Katie Wright are expecting a baby boy, reports People.

"They're quite ecstatic," says the actor's rep Stan Rosenfield.

Wright, who is studying to become a family therapist, has just begun her second trimester.

Azaria, 44, and Wright have been dating for two years, and this is their first child together. The actor was previously married to actress Helen Hunt, but they divorced in December 2000.

When Azaria isn't lending his voice to the wacky Springfield residents on "The Simpsons," he's acting in the flesh on the big screen. His next film will be the upcoming "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian," in theaters in May.
