The baby is due in August

LaKisha Jones is gearing up for a busy but happy year.

The "American Idol" finalist, who is releasing an album this spring, is also expecting a baby in August, reports Usmagazine.com.

It's the first child for Jones and her new husband, financial adviser Larry Davis. The couple tied the knot in October 2008 in front of fellow reality show castmates Haley Scarnato, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen and Sanjaya Malakar.

Jones, 29, also has a daughter, 6-year-old Brionne, from a previous relationship.

Jones placed fourth on the sixth season of "American Idol." Her album "So Glad I'm Me" drops on May 16.
