Naveen Andrews' son is 3-year-old Naveen Joshua
Naveen Andrews' son can now stay with his dad and even get a Hawaii trip out of it.
The "Lost" star was granted temporary sole legal and physical custody of the son he had with a woman named Elena Eustache. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge made the change to the custody order on Wednesday, Jan. 7, reports TMZ.com.
During a brief separation from his relationship with actress Barbara Hershey, 60, in 2005, the 39-year-old Andrews had a son, Naveen Joshua, with Eustache. After reconciling with Hershey, he entered into an ongoing custody dispute over his 3-year-old son.
The parents had joint custody, but Andrews claimed that Eustache had kept the boy from him and had even taken little Naveen out of LA County without permission.
Eustache allegedly claimed that Andrews and Hershey had poisoned the boy and further accused Hershey of practicing witchcraft. In response, Andrews' attorney Laura Wasser requested that the judge order Eustache to undergo psychiatric testing.
According to the new temporary order, the boy is allowed to travel to Hawaii with either his father or Hershey when Andrews has to film "Lost" there.
Andrews currently plays Sayid Jarrah, one of the Oceanic Six, on ABC's drama "Lost," which returns for its fifth season beginning Wednesday, Jan. 21.
