Art will be imitating life on "Rita Rocks."

Nicole Sullivan is expecting a child, and the pregnancy will be written into her Lifetime series, "Rita Rocks," reports People.

It's the second child for the actress, 38, and her husband, Jason Packham. Their son Dashel Pierce will be 2 in May.

"Dash is thrilled to have a partner in crime, Jason is excited about doubling his chances to have a child in the NBA, and I am enjoying all the eating that comes along with being pregnant," says Sullivan, who is due this summer.

"Rita Rocks," which stars Sullivan as a hard-working mom who also plays in a garage band, was renewed for its second season Monday.
