'ER's' Parminder Nagra Gets Hitched
The English actress is expecting a child with her husband this summer
The "ER" star and her longtime boyfriend, photographer James Stenson, tied the knot Saturday afternoon, Jan. 17 in Hollywood, reports People.
The couple decided on an "Anand Karaj," the Sikh wedding ceremony that translates into "joyful ceremonial occasion" joining two equals.
The English actress, 33, and Stenson, 34, have been dating for seven years. They're expecting their first child together this summer and live in Los Angeles together.
"ER" producer John Wells revealed at the Television Critics Association press tour last Thursday that Nagra's pregnancy will be incorporated into some of the final episode.
With the departure of Maura Tierney, Nagra is currently the most senior regular cast member on "ER." She plays Dr. Neela Rasgotra, a surgical resident who has had previous romantic relationships with the characters played by Shane West and John Stamos, among others.
Nagra is also known for her breakout role in the soccer coming of age comedy "Bend It Like Beckham," costarring Kiera Knightley and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
