'Jackass' Star Steve-O Hospitalized
Actor has also been charged with cocaine possession
The prankster entered Cedars-Sinai's Thalians Mental Health Center on Sunday, March 9, reports TMZ.com.
Thalians is the same place Owen Wilson entered after his reported suicide attempt in August 2007. No other details are available at this time.
A day later, Steve-O, born Stephen Glover, was also charged by the L.A. District Attorney with felony possession of a controlled substance, stemming from his March 3 citizen's arrest for allegedly vandalizing his neighbor's property. Officers on the scene found him in possession cocaine.
Steve-O, 33, is one of the many members of the stunt and prank "Jackass" team that includes Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Wee Man, among others. Steve-O will also star in his own USA reality series, "Dr. Steve-O," which premeires in October and features the daredevil traveling around the country to "de-wussify" the wimpy men of America through "extreme attitude adjustments."
