Woody Harrelson Gets Married
Actor weds long-time girlfriend on Maui
The former "Cheers" star and "No Country for Old Men" actor and Louie were married Sunday (Dec. 28) in a small ceremony on the Hawaiian island of Maui. Guests included Willie Nelson and Sean Penn, and Alanis Morissette sang at the ceremony, Us Weekly reports.
Louie, 43, and Harrelson, 47, have been a couple since the late 1980s, when they met on the set of "Cheers." They have three daughters together, ranging in age from 2 to 15.
Harrelson won an Emmy in 1989 for playing the dim but kind-hearted bartender Woody Boyd on "Cheers." He earned an Oscar nomination in 1997 for "The People vs. Larry Flynt."
He currently co-stars with Will Smith in "Seven Pounds"; other recent credits include "Semi-Pro," "A Prairie Home Companion" and " Transsiberian."
