DVD review
'Alien Trespass'
Some horror satires have used the 1950s as a backdrop, since alien-invasion stories were so plentiful then, and this one also involves that milieu. Earth becomes the battleground for two extraterrestrials, an evil one that looks the way you might imagine, and a mankind-defending one who takes human form in the persona of Eric McCormack ("Will & Grace").
Co-star Robert Patrick is reunited with producer-director R.W. Goodwin, who worked on "The X-Files"; Dan Lauria ("The Wonder Years") also is featured. DVD extras: theatrical trailer; "making-of" documentary; behind-the-scenes footage. *** (PG: AS) (Also on Blu-ray)
