Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange make an expectedly potent performing duo in this made-for-HBO film, dramatizing a true story that initially was made famous in a mid-1970s documentary by the acclaimed Maysles brothers.

The actresses play relatives, but not just any relatives – ones related to Jacqueline Bouvier, who would take the last names Kennedy and Onassis.

The women live in a Long Island mansion but in a manner that might not be expected. Co-stars include Jeanne Tripplehorn ("Big Love"), Daniel Baldwin and Ken Howard, and the Maysles are represented by Arye Gross and Justin Louis. *** (Not rated: AS, P)
