Overlooked by many because a similar sitcom based on the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" debuted at the same time, this inventive Fox show about another scheming teen still can be appreciated almost two decades later.

Corin Nemec is Parker, who gets around the rules set by his school's strict principal (Melanie Chartoff, "Fridays") by using every trick at his disposal. Also in the regular cast is Abraham Benrubi, seen here before he became a staple of the "ER" ensemble. *** (Not rated: AS)
