Sort of a hybrid of "Jumper," " Watchmen," "X-Men" and any other project about a group with unusual abilities, this fantasy casts Chris Evans ("Fantastic Four") as a telekinetic wonder trying to help other specially gifted people being pursued by a government agency.

Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle ("10,000 B.C.") play two such individuals, and when they all get together, the film's special-effects team gets to run rampant. Djimon Hounsou also stars. ** (PG-13: AS, P, V) (Also on Blu-ray)
