As if banks weren't facing enough of an image challenge these days, this good-looking, big-scale melodrama from director Tom Tykwer ("Run Lola Run") makes a financial institution a genuine villain.

Clive Owen plays an Interpol agent who teams with a prosecutor (Naomi Watts) to bring down those bankrolling arms dealers who are enabling global terrorism. Armin Mueller-Stahl also stars.
