Peter Sellers made numerous sequels to the original Inspector Clouseau comedy, but this is Steve Martin's follow-up to his initial turn as the famous clumsy French police detective.

This time, he's not the only sleuth on the prowl, since he becomes part of a global team assembled to track down a criminal who has made off with a number of world treasures.

John Cleese assumes the role of Clouseau's ever-flummoxed superior; Andy Garcia, Alfred Molina, Jeremy Irons and Martin's "All of Me" co-star Lily Tomlin also join a cast that includes returnees Jean Reno and Emily Mortimer.
