"Prince Caspian" picks up the chronicles of Narnia 1,300 years after the events of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" -- at least, 1,300 years for the fantastic creatures of Aslan's world. For the Pevensie kids, it's been just a few years. That allows for a bit of a darker storyline, with Narnia almost wiped out by the villainous Telmarines.

The first disc has the movie and commentary; the second houses bloopers, deleted scenes and a ridiculous number of behind-the-scenes featurettes. No skimping here!

DVD Bonus Features:

The Good: Never let it be said Disney short-changes its DVD buyers. Not only does the commentary include the director and lead actors, but the second disc is stuffed with features. And let's be honest: Making-of documentaries can be duller than dishwater. These are not; they may get technical, but are never boring.

The Bad: Who's the movie's audience? The packaging seems aimed toward a younger crowd, emphasizing the cuter Narnian animals and the impossibly attractive leads. The tone of the film and features, though, is toward a more mature audience. Little ones will be bored if you try and sit them in front of the making-of features; unlike "Wall-E," you won't find kid-friendly activities here.

The Price: $39.99
