'The Abbott and Costello Show: Hit the Road'

After they'd pretty much had their heyday in movies, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello took their comedy act to television in a syndicated series that cast them as actors always looking for their next gig.

Several episodes are compiled in this release, which spells out the subjects pretty clearly in the titles ("The Haunted House," "Las Vegas," "Car Trouble," etc.) as they head for various destinations. *** (Not rated)
