'Battle: Los Angeles'

After devastating attacks are staged by alien invaders elsewhere around the globe, the U.S. West Coast becomes the next target in this sci-fi thriller.

Though the special-effects masters are the real stars here, Aaron Eckhart plays a Marine sergeant who leads troops into combat against the otherworldly assailants. Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan ("Blue Bloods"), Michael Pena ("Crash") and music's Ne-Yo also are in the human cast.
