Just as the "Galactica" prequel "Caprica" made its debut on video before its Syfy telecast next year, so it is with this movie spin-off of the re-imagined series, which reboots the show by combining existing sequences with new material.

Directed by cast member Edward James Olmos, the story largely takes the evil Cylons' view of what has transpired and what is to be done about the rest of the human race.
