Four talented actresses got a terrific showcase for their talents with this sassy sitcom, which debuted on CBS in 1986 and made married producers Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and Harry Thomason television titans.

Delta Burke, Dixie Carter, Annie Potts and Jean Smart play the Southern ladies involved in an interior-design business – and also trying to put new designs on their personal lives. Meshach Taylor also stars as their assistant.
