Kevin Spacey is a performer who can do no wrong, and his acting expertise is a big bonus for this seriocomic tale about the man who devised the "ab-clicker."
Though it was intended to help the physiques of those who used it, it ended up injuring many of them instead, landing him in prison as the result of a class-action suit. After he's released, he appeals to his daughter (Camilla Belle) to help him get back on his feet.
