Typically a specialist in live-action tales, 'Pirates of the Caribbean' producer Jerry Bruckheimer tackled animation for the first time in this Disney comedy-adventure about literal guinea pigs trained as secret agents. Upon discovering the plan of a tycoon (Bill Nighy, in a live-action role) to control the world via appliances, the animals set out to stop the scheme.

Nicolas Cage, Penelope Cruz, Steve Buscemi, Tracy Morgan ('30 Rock'), Jon Favreau and Sam Rockwell are in the voice cast. *** (PG: AS) (Also on Blu-ray)
