'The Good Witch'

After she had started another successful series run on "Army Wives," Catherine Bell ( "JAG") gave the "Bewitched" concept a whirl in this Hallmark Channel movie with charm that comes largely from the performances. As one Cassandra Nightingale, Bell relocates to a new town and immediately occupies a mansion with a reputation for being haunted – stirring the suspicions of the populace over why she seems so comfortable there.
Chris Potter plays a lawman and widower who doesn't let his own curiosity get in the way of his attraction to her. *** (Not rated: AS)
