DVD review
'Harry Brown'
Michael Caine does customarily excellent work as an unlikely avenger in this tale of a senior citizen out to even the score when young hoodlums kill a friend in his British neighborhood.
Local detectives ( Emily Mortimer, Charlie Creed-Miles) aren't happy that Harry is reapplying expertise from his anti-IRA days to act as a one-man army. DVD extras: audio commentary by Caine, director Daniel Barber and producer Kris Thykier; deleted scenes. *** (R: AS, P, V) (Also on Blu-ray)
