'Here Come the Brides: The Complete Second Season'

Television's version of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" (before that film was turned into a show of its own), this late-1960s ABC show got a boost from teen recording idol Bobby Sherman as one of the Bolt brothers, logging company operators who import a group of women to keep their employees happy.

Robert Brown and a pre-"Starsky and Hutch" David Soul play the other siblings, with Bridget Hanley as Sherman's love interest and Joan Blondell as a saloon owner. The show yielded its own hit song, the theme "Seattle." *** (Not rated: AS, V)
