'Knight and Day'

It made less of a box-office splash than hoped for, but the reteaming of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz (years after "Vanilla Sky") includes solid action sequences, including a terrific opening aboard an airplane.

That's where Diaz's character first encounters the spy played by Cruise, who's targeted for elimination - making her his companion-by-force. Peter Sarsgaard, Viola Davis, Maggie Grace ("Taken") and Paul Dano also appear for director James Mangold ("Walk the Line").
