Anyone who knows anything about movies of recent years undoubtedly is aware that Tyler Perry is Madea, and he dons the guise again as writer, director and star of this comedy-drama very much in the mode of Perry's other works.

The no-nonsense Madea tries to get several relatives to rally around their mother (Loretta Devine), who is facing a health crisis. Natalie Desselle Reid, Shannon Kane and Shad "Bow Wow" Moss play the grown offspring too caught up in their own lives to offer support ... until Madea steps in, anyway.
