'Splice'

Messing around with science or nature always is dicey, as the characters played by Oscar winner Adrien Brody ("The Pianist") and Sarah Polley ("The Sweet Hereafter") discover anew in this thriller.

They play scientists who combine DNA taken from different animals with human genes to develop a new life form - and when the resulting creature ( Delphine Chaneac) takes a shine to her male creator, it's trouble time.
